The Vanishing Set

Location: Film and Music Building, University of Hertfordshire

This project focuses on the design and development of a multifunctional TV set that seamlessly adapts to three distinct show formats: a morning show, an evening talk show, and a quiz show. The goal was to create a dynamic and cost-effective set that allows for quick transformations while maintaining a strong visual identity suited to each program’s atmosphere.

Inspired by the principles of origami, our design embraces foldability, modularity, and space efficiency, ensuring that transitions between the setups are both seamless and practical.
